Description
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for the procurement of HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance parts, materials, and equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with project specifications and company standards.

• Able to quickly learn product information and vendor tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quotes and obtain verbal or digital approval to proceed with quoted products and/or services.
• Issue and expedite purchase orders as needed to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to the warehouse and/or job sites.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate delivery requirements with vendors.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all purchase orders and procurement activities.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and sales representatives.
• Obtain catalog submittals and drawings for purchased materials when required.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by the Purchasing Manager.
Requirements:
• Working knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, and policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in HVAC purchasing is preferred.
