Job Summary:
Villa Nova is seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Tracker and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant by managing inventory levels, ordering stock, and performing miscellaneous maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Order stock from suppliers and ensure timely delivery of required items.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the restaurant premises and equipment are in good working order.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.
- Assist in setting up and organizing storage areas for efficient inventory management.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to understand inventory needs and priorities.
- Report any maintenance issues to the management and arrange for repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management or maintenance roles, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or willingness to learn.
