Sylvan Learning Center helps students build confidence and academic skills through individualized, research-based lessons. We combine expert-designed curriculum, a low 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio, and flexible scheduling so tutors can focus on teaching and making a difference.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert-designed lessons in reading, math, writing, and/or study skills across elementary, middle, and/or high school levels.
- Follow individualized learning plans; monitor and record student progress.
- Create a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with students and center staff.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or teens (classroom, tutoring, coaching, or related).
- Strong subject knowledge in at least one area: reading, math, writing, or study skills.
- Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in-person (this is NOT remote).
- State teaching credential required for most programs, degree in education or related field preferred.
