As a Store Manager, you’ll lead the overall success and daily operations of your store—driving sales, ensuring profitability, and creating a culture where every team member delivers on our mission: that every customer leaves saying “WOW!” — impressed by our incredible service, incredible selection, and incredible experience.
This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a passion for helping both customers and associates thrive.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, expenses, inventory, and profitability
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Set clear expectations, delegate effectively, and hold team members accountable for results
- Drive sales growth through proactive merchandising, local marketing, and community involvement
- Ensure operational excellence and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate financial reporting and manage controllable expenses to achieve profit goals
- Lead by example in providing exceptional service and promoting Ace’s Helpful culture
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Proven success in driving sales and developing teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- A passion for community engagement and helping customers succeed
