We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to help lead daily operations in a high-energy fast-casual restaurant environment.


As a Restaurant Shift Supervisor, you will help supervise restaurant operations, lead team members during shifts, and ensure that every guest receives exceptional customer service, food quality, and hospitality. This role works closely with the General Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain operational standards, develop team members, and support restaurant profitability.


This position is ideal for someone with experience as a restaurant supervisor, shift lead, team leader, or demonstrated customer service leader who enjoys coaching employees, managing restaurant operations, and delivering a great guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations & Shift Leadership

  • Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts
  • Ensure Freddy’s standards for hospitality, food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness
  • Maintain strong customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor restaurant flow and maintain efficiency during busy service periods
  • Spend most of your time on the restaurant floor leading the team and supporting operations

Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Train and coach restaurant team members and crew members
  • Provide direction and support to staff during shifts
  • Maintain a positive team culture focused on hospitality, teamwork, and accountability
  • Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and staff performance feedback
  • Lead by example with strong communication and leadership skills

Operational Excellence & Cost Control

  • Assist management with labor control, food cost management, and inventory
  • Support product ordering and maintain proper inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
  • Help maintain restaurant equipment, cleanliness, and organization
  • Use restaurant management tools such as sales reports, labor reports, and inventory tracking

Qualifications

Restaurant Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in quick service restaurants (QSR), fast food, or casual dining
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service

Skills & Leadership

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy shifts
  • Passion for delivering great food and great hospitality

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-hour shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and occasionally climb a ladder
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
