Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bread, batter, and cook chicken, tenders, and other menu items following Popeyes recipes and procedures
- Operate fry station and other kitchen stations as needed
- Monitor cook times, temperatures, and holding times to ensure food quality and safety
- Set up, operate, and safely shut down kitchen equipment including fryers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen throughout your shift
- Assist with prep work for breading, batter, sides, and other ingredients
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house and assembly teams to keep orders accurate and timely
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant safety procedures diligently
- Support the team by learning and working multiple back-of-house stations
Qualifications
- Dependable, hard-working, and safety-minded with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment around hot equipment and oil
- Able to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety standards consistently
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn multiple kitchen stations
- Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Eligible to work in the United States and meet minimum age requirements
