Purple Lotus is actively in pursuit of an enthusiastic, achievement-oriented, and dependable Inventory Specialist II to join our team. 


We are looking for someone to be a motivated individual, so our ideal candidate has an understanding of cannabis regulations in Santa Clara County, effective communication, while also being good at time management in order to meet business goals while consistently producing high quality results.


The Inventory Specialist II plays a critical role by ensuring that the organization  meets measurable goals set in place by the Supply Chain Director.  The Inventory Specialist  II ensures that The Company is able to maximize and flawlessly execute  the inventory processes and utilize the resources  available to meet and exceed the department goals. 


 Inventory Specialist II  Duties

  • Ensure that shelves are free from expired or damaged items, maintaining an impeccable presentation.
  • Execute precise labeling of products and storage containers in strict adherence to state and municipal regulations.
  • Participate in conducting comprehensive cycle counts across all product categories, meticulously documenting findings with precision.
  • Effectively communicate any discrepancies or low-stock situations to the Supply Chain Director, ensuring compliance-related concerns are promptly addressed.
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance to front-of-house personnel regarding inventory inquiries and requests.
  • Stay abreast of and ensure adherence to all pertinent state and local regulations governing Cannabis Inventory.
  • Handle invoicing and receiving tasks with unfailing accuracy, maintaining 100% data entry precision.
  • Maintain meticulous records of daily movements, chain of custody forms, inventory scanning, and accurate counting procedures.
  • Execute flawless data entry into Treez and Metrc systems, ensuring absolute precision.
  • Maintain open availability Monday- Sunday

  • Pick and accurately scan items for in store pickup/delivery/express orders.
  •  Assist with moving packaged orders to the proper locations with necessary receipts attached.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to help maintain departmental operations and improve on the speed of fulfillment processes.
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Supply Chain Director and Management

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • College preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required.
