Section 1: Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in the evaluation of patients' functional status and home environment to identify areas for improvement
• Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities to enhance their independence
• Maintain accurate clinical records and report any changes in patients' condition
• Follow treatment plans and document patients' progress towards established goals
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
• Identify patients' needs for additional home care services and assist with necessary referrals
• Instruct patients' families and caregivers in treatment regimes
• Receive ongoing supervision and maintain open communication with the registered Occupational Therapist

Section 2: Job Requirements

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the location
• Graduated from an OT assistant program accredited by the ACOTE of the AOTA or equivalent
• One year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and insured automobile
