NIGHTS UNTIL CLOSING AND WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED


As a team member at Wingstop, an employee is responsible for taking customer orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen staff. They must work quickly and efficiently with coworkers to ensure guests receive their food in a timely manner. Responsibilities include managing cash drawers, addressing and resolving customer concerns, and replacing food items when needed. Team members are expected to prepare high-quality food that is consistent in taste and presentation every day. This role plays an important part in Wingstop operations by following company standards in all areas, including food preparation, cleanliness, and customer service. Proper hygiene and sanitation practices must always be followed. Employees should remain calm, focused, and productive in a fast-paced environment. Being a strong team player is essential, as the job requires collaboration and maintaining positive interactions with both coworkers and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers entering the restaurant or calling in.

• Take customer orders in person and over the phone; promote menu items, sauces, and current specials.

• Handle payments accurately using cash, credit cards, and gift cards.

• Respond to customer questions and offer helpful menu suggestions.

• Ensure orders are completed within company time standards.

• Check that all food items meet presentation standards and confirm order accuracy before handing them out.

• Reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift and prepare it for the next employee.

• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.

• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

• Maintain a neat and professional appearance in line with company uniform guidelines.

• Address customer complaints and refer more serious issues to management.

• Provide a positive and memorable experience for every customer.

• Follow proper and safe cooking procedures at all times.

• Quickly read and understand order tickets.

• Accurately count and prepare the correct quantities of classic wings, boneless wings, and tenders for each order.

• Manage cooking times for wings and fries using the appropriate timers.

• Sauce, season, and package food according to Wingstop standards.

• Portion cooked items correctly into designated containers.

• Cook wings, tenders, and fries using the proper equipment and techniques.

• Maintain fryer quality by filtering and refreshing oil daily while following safety guidelines.

• Keep the kitchen clean throughout the shift and during closing duties.

• Report any safety, sanitation, or staff concerns to the manager on duty immediately.

• Support coworkers as needed and follow instructions from supervisors.

• Understand and apply proper hygiene and food safety practices.

• Safely use cleaning chemicals according to instructions.
