Position Summary:
The Talent Director plays a pivotal role in shaping our restaurant's culture by leading and executing comprehensive talent strategies. This individual will be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring that every Team Member embodies Chick-fil-A Pflugerville’s commitment to service and operational excellence. The Talent Director will champion our Team Member value proposition, foster an inclusive culture of care, and contribute significantly to our employer brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract high-caliber candidates who align with Chick-fil-A's Mission, Vision and Values.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all applicants.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand within the local community to position Chick-fil-A Pflugerville as a preferred employer.
Team Member Development & Retention:
- Facilitate a robust training and development program that enhances Team Member skills, fosters career growth, and promotes leadership development.
- Implement retention strategies that encourage Team Member engagement, satisfaction, and long-term commitment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Cultural Engagement
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and caring work environment where all Team Members feel valued and respected.
- Organize and lead Team Member recognition programs, team-building activities, and communication initiatives.
- Act as a trusted resource and advocate for Team Members, addressing concerns and fostering open communication.
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the Operator and leadership team to align talent strategies with overall business objectives.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay informed of industry best practices and trends in talent management to ensure our strategies remain competitive and effective.
Operational Support:
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all labor laws and company policies.
- Contribute to scheduling and staffing decisions to ensure optimal restaurant operations.
- Ensure compliance with Texas Food Handler’s and ServSafe Certification
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in talent management, human resources, or a related leadership role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employee development, and retention strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- A passion for service excellence and a commitment to Chick-fil-A Pflugerville values.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
