The Shift Leader position is a leadership role that entrusts someone with the business, to make on-the-spot decisions to protect, promote, and grow the organization. It takes someone with a passion for leadership and development, knowledge, and a proven track record of excellence in the restaurant. This position's main goal is to run an effective shift. While that may sound simple, this means a lot of things but the main focus is always on customer service. Ensuring that our guests have a remarkable experience is the priority.


Foundation Expectations

Coachability can be defined as someone’s willingness and ability to act on feedback to improve performance and development. It’s not just about listening, but about proactively engaging with the coaching process.

  • Being coachable involves: actively seeking feedback, applying that feedback, and continually striving to improve yourself and others.

  • Embodying care would show as: being eager to help others, having attention to detail, consistency, protecting the brand, and willingness to take ownership of issues.

Hustle can be defined as working or proceeding rapidly and energetically, often involving a degree of persuasion.

  • Hustle emphasizes: a strong work ethic, dedication, a proactive approach to achieving goals, often with a sense of urgency, and a willingness to go the extra mile.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all team members with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
  • Ensures that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
  • Ensures that Team Members are accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
  • Ensures that Team Members work at a pace to maintain the restaurant's established speed of service guidelines.
  • Ensures that workstations are clean and adheres to all Food Safety procedures at all times.
  • Assists with inventory and facilities management.
  • Address Team Member issues that may arise; consults with management regarding complex issues.
  • Communicates Team Member performance and policy/procedure violations to management for appropriate handling.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which include but is not limited to standing for up to 8 hours and lifting 50 lbs.
  • Perform any/all of the tasks above as needed throughout the shift.
  • Strictly adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Stewards and carries out the Organizations Vision and Core Values and protects the Brand and Company 

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 1 year minimum of proven management experience, ideally from within the restaurant industry.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

Pay: $21-22

Job Type: Fulltime

Schedule: Minimum of 4 days and 6 consecutive hours minimum each day – weekend availability required (Friday & Saturday). Available for two day parts (Open & Mid OR Mid & Close).
