There is ample room for growth within The Mission Restaurants and restaurant group. Chef Carter partners with two other standout concepts in the valley Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox. Zinc Bistro, a French bistro, is located in the Kierland Commons a stone’s throw away from The Mission Kierland Restaurant. Fat Ox is the modern Italian steakhouse of the family and is located on Lincoln and Scottsdale Rd. Our culinary team is encouraged to grow within each restaurant and develop their skills then by expanding to explore other concepts within the group. Along with embracing multiple culinary arts, our restaurants cater to in-house and off-site banquet events, as well as various local community affairs.


Manager Responsibilities:

  • Delegating responsibilities and supervising business operations
  • Hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities.
  • Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees.
  • Monitoring store activity and ensuring it is properly provisioned and staffed.
  • Analyzing information and processes and developing more effective or efficient processes and strategies.
  • Establishing and achieving business and profit objectives.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy business, ensuring that signage and displays are attractive.
  • Generating reports and presenting information to upper-level managers or other parties.
  • Ensuring staff members follow company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business.


Skills:


• Resume and minimum 3 years working experience as a bartender

• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

• Ability to enter items in POS system and accept payment

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
