We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented participants to perform everyday physical activities in a multi-camera recording environment at our Menlo Park lab. Your work will directly support the development of advanced robotics and physical AI systems designed to better understand human movement, object interaction, and real-world tasks.
This is a paid, onsite, part-time role involving structured recording sessions using lightweight camera equipment (head, chest, and wrist-mounted cameras). No robotics or technical experience is required.

You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team contributing to the development of next-generation robotics and physical AI systems.
What You’ll Do
During recording sessions, you will perform guided everyday tasks while wearing lightweight recording equipment in a lab or real-world environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Performing structured data collection tasks involving object handling, organization, cleaning, sorting, and movement-based activities
- Wearing lightweight multi-camera or motion capture equipment during recording sessions
- Starting and stopping recording devices during sessions
- Assisting with basic equipment setup and notifying staff of technical issues when needed
- Providing feedback on recording workflows, equipment usability, or task clarity
- Maintaining equipment responsibly and following onsite safety procedures
- Communicating clearly with onsite coordinators and staff throughout sessions
Recording environments may include office, retail, residential-style, storage, or workshop setups designed to capture real-world activities.
Schedule & Commitment
- Shifts Available Monday to Friday: 10:00AM-2:00PM or 2:00PM-6:00PM
- Flexible part-time scheduling
- We are ideally looking for participants available 3–5 sessions per week
- Typical sessions range from 2–4 hours
- Consistent weekly availability is strongly preferred
- Opportunities for additional hours may be available for reliable participants
- Project continuation is based on performance, reliability, and project needs
Compensation
- $22/hour for usable data collected
- 1099 independent contractor role
- No cap on available hours for strong performers
Participants are expected to remain actively engaged and follow recording instructions during sessions.
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- No robotics or technical experience required
