Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food preparation, cooking, and speed of service to ensure high-quality standards.
- Enforce strict health codes and food safety rules, and maintain kitchen sanitation for a safe environment.
- Manage inventory, control food and supply orders, and implement waste reduction strategies.
- Monitor labor and food costs to optimize operational efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development
- Hire, train, coach, and schedule kitchen shift leaders and team members to build a strong and enthusiastic team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work atmosphere that motivates and supports staff growth.
Equipment and Facility Management
- Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are in excellent working condition.
- Schedule timely repairs and maintenance to avoid disruptions in service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization through regular facility checks and cleansing checklists.
