Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Multi-Unit Manager to join our rapidly expanding Smoothie King franchise in Austin—the fastest growing in the area. With 3 successful locations already operating and an exciting plan to add 10 more over the next 4 years, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead from the front in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Launch & Operational Leadership:
- Serve as the Store Manager for our new fourth location opening in July, overseeing everything from initial setup and staff hiring to daily operations and customer service excellence.
- Replicate the successful launch strategy for our upcoming fourth location (opening in June) and fifth location (set to open by year’s end), ensuring consistency and quality across all new sites.
- Growth & Expansion:
- Play a critical role in scaling operations as our franchise grows, contributing insights and strategies to support our expansion plans.
- Collaborate with franchise leadership to streamline processes, implement best practices, and maintain brand standards across multiple locations.
- Performance & Development:
- Drive operational performance and profitability through effective management, team development, and by meeting or exceeding performance benchmarks.
- Transition into increased responsibilities as more locations open, with a clear pathway for career growth and enhanced compensation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting Package:
- Base salary starting at $50,000 annually, with the potential to earn up to a $1,250 quarterly performance bonus.
- Growth-Linked Increase:
- Upon successfully operating the first location, the candidate will be allowed to open a second new location. At that point, compensation will increase to a base salary of $60,000 annually with quarterly performance bonuses up to $2,500.

Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically hire, develop, and lead the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers (inventory management, shipments, etc.)
- Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly.
- Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times; ensure all Team Members are in compliance as well.
- Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
- Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
- Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards.
- Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools and programs as well as finding new, creative and effective methods of recognition.
- Collaborate with Smoothie King professionals from Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Marketing to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to your community.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a similar field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar retail customer service business. Multi -unit experience highly preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills - you are energized by working with people, both guests and your team.

- Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
- Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal and state laws and local statutes.
- ServSafe Certification.
