We are currently looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team at Davenport's Pizza Palace!
Restaurant Manager Responsibilities:
- Assist with the hiring process by working alongside the GM to source, interview, hire and train qualified candidates
- Assist with placing product orders
- Manage daily operations effectively with a focus on customer service
- Ensure pizzas are prepared quickly and consistently to our specifications
- Assist with posting the schedule each week and holding employees accountable to their shifts
- Communicate with customers to ensure a pleasant experience and be able to resolve any potential issues to keep customers happy
- Become proficient with all aspects of our POS system
- Analyze sales reports, manage labor and food costs as a percentage of sales
Restaurant Manager Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager required
- Solid understanding of P&L, food and labor costs
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work autonomously to solve problems
- Knowledge of Food Safety standards
- Hands-on Leadership
- Excellent communication
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
