Chef-owned neighborhood eatery, DERU Market, is hiring dishwasher / scullery technicians! We are passionate about food, local farms, and scratch cookery! A scullery technician will excel at working hard to keep the cooks and chefs supplied with dishes and cookware that provides the food that our guests have loved for years!
Seeking full time PM dishwasher
Wednesday - Sunday (must have weekend availability)
3:00p - 10:30p
This position starting wage is $24 - $26 per hour (rate includes base pay plus expected hourly tips)
THE JOB:
- Able to execute the cleaning of dishes and cookware during service
- Able to maintain excellence in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for driving the success of the restaurant with addressing and resolving any facility or stewarding needs that may arise
- Maintain Mental athleticism and coordination with teammates to produce an efficient, productive dynamic
- Ability to think critically but also possess the skill to follow directions
- Have the ability to be trained on and follow the Department of Health standards
- A strong work ethic and resilient attitude
- Confidence in effectively communicating any inconsistencies to Sous Chefs and teammates
- Assists in putting away orders
- Daily deep cleaning duties
