FULL TIME Server at Farm to Table Restaurant

DERU Market is a chef owned, farm to table neighborhood restaurant in Kirkland and passionate about good food and good hospitality! We are seeking hospitality driven and food focused full time servers to guide daily service on the floor and provide a wonderful guest experience! We are seeking individuals who can start work in May / June of 2025 with the intention of being on our team for at least one full calendar year.


We will be starting off this hiring with a phone interview week where you will have the opportunity to speak with one of our restaurant managers - Wednesday, May 14th through Friday, May 30th!

Position: Full-Time Server

This position must have at least 1 to 2 years of quality, fast-paced server experience at a full-service restaurant. Previous leadership experience is not required but a plus!


Pay: $24 - $26 Per Hour

-This average rate includes an hourly base rate expected hourly tips, the training period for server position is on average four to six weeks. DERU divides tips equally between the front of house and kitchen team.


Weekly Schedule: Hourly, Full Time. Weekends a Must.

-As a full-time host, you will be working around 30-35hrs a week and must be available to work the weekends.

• Outgoing, positive and high energy individual who loves working with people and eager to take the next steps in their leadership journey

• Confidently leads the dining room team / host to champion daily service and oversees execution of opening and closing procedures

• Thorough understanding of the ingredients in our products and can confidently explain and sell the food and beverage menu

• Actively participates in FOH classes / training and trains new employees according with DERU's Training System

• Leads daily pre-shift staff meetings and conducts post shift check outs with dining room team

• Quickly anticipates every guests needs to ensure a positive and caring experience at DERU

• Positively responds to feedback and shows eagerness to learn and grow as a leader
