Park Operations Supervisor

This is a seasonal SUPERVISOR position. We are seeking experienced, responsible, and guest-focused leaders who are committed to safety, service, and strong team leadership. Must be 18 years or older and out of high school, with prior work experience required.
Job Description
Splash Summit Waterpark is seeking motivated and professional individuals to join our leadership team as Park Operations Supervisors. This role plays a vital part in daily park operations, staff supervision, guest experience, and safety management.
Supervisors may be assigned to one or more of three operational areas: Front Office, Parking & Tube Rentals, or Park Operations. All supervisors are expected to lead by example, provide excellent guest service, support staff, and ensure park policies and procedures are consistently followed.
This position requires strong leadership, organization, communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Department Assignments
Front Office Operations
- Assist the Office Manager with scheduling, training, and supervising office staff (25+ employees)
- Supervise front office employees on a daily basis
- Prepare office stations for opening
- Monitor employee hours and approve time changes
- Work in the office and support daily operations
- Respond to guest concerns, complaints, and customer service issues
- Coordinate daily with the Office Manager
- Run weekly in-service meetings and attend supervisor trainings
Parking & Tube Rentals Operations
- Supervise parking booth and tube rental kiosk staff (50+ employees)
- Provide guest assistance and customer service related to parking and tubes
- Manage tube inventory and circulation tracking
- Assist with scheduling, training, and staff coordination
- Maintain safe, organized, and efficient parking and rental operations
- Run weekly in-service meetings and attend supervisor trainings
Park Operations
This department is open to all supers who may require more working hours.
- Patrol the park to monitor safety and policy compliance
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns
- Assist with conflict resolution and guest issue management
- Identify and report suspicious or unsafe behavior
- Secure park areas before opening and after closing
- Assist in opening more cashier stations
- Maintain incident reports and daily logs
- Assist with lost and found services
- Collaborate with other departments in safety and procedure
- Serve as a visible, approachable leader throughout the park
Core Responsibilities (All Supervisors)
- Supervise, support, and lead employees daily
- Assist with training, coaching, and performance monitoring
- Help with pre-season hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor employee performance and handle minor discipline
- Maintain professional appearance and enforce park policies
- Provide excellent guest service and problem resolution
- Attend supervisor meetings and trainings
- Collaborate with management to improve operations
- Assist in all areas of park operations as needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience required (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, outdoor environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Cash handling, customer service, and supervisory experience a plus
- Proficiency in Google Workspace a plus
Testing
All applicants are subject to random background checks and random drug testing.
Pay
- $14/hr – $16/hr, depending on experience
- Potential $1/hr end-of-season bonus
