Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Brigham City is seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and support a growing team in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accountability, and being trusted to run the café when above cafe management is not onsite.
What You’ll Do
Daily Operations
- Run high-volume, fast-paced shifts with confidence and consistency
- Ensure all stations meet brand standards for food quality, portioning, prep, and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready café at all times
- Complete accurate opening and closing procedures
- Place inventory orders and manage breaks and shift flow
Team Leadership
- Coach crew members and shift leads to brand and performance standards
- Assist with training new hires and reinforcing proper procedures
- Set the tone for urgency, professionalism, and teamwork on every shift
- Support onboarding and daily skill development for staff
Guest Experience
- Deliver Unparalleled Hospitality on every shift
- Resolve guest concerns calmly, confidently, and professionally
- Maintain fast ticket times while keeping service friendly and accurate
Financial & Administrative Support
- Count tills, manage drawers, and prepare bank deposits
- Assist with labor management and shift-level staffing decisions
- Support food and paper inventory counts and waste reduction
- Uphold food safety and brand standards to protect the business
What We’re Looking For
- Prior leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality
- Strong communication, organization, and accountability skills
- High personal integrity and reliability
- Comfortable working mornings, afternoons, weekends, and some holidays
- Enjoys coaching others and taking ownership of results
- Calm under pressure and able to lead by example
