Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Brigham City is seeking a highly reliable, organized, and people-focused Store Manager to oversee daily café operations, lead the team, and help build a strong culture in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, accountability, structure, and being trusted to oversee the café’s day-to-day operations while working closely with ownership and upper management.
What You’ll Do
Daily Operations
- Lead daily café operations with consistency, urgency, and professionalism
- Oversee shift flow, staffing coverage, breaks, and operational execution
- Ensure all stations meet brand standards for food quality, prep, cleanliness, and speed
- Maintain a clean, organized, guest-ready café at all times
- Complete accurate opening and closing procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and operational planning
Team Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of leadership for crew members and shift leads
- Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable to performance standards
- Support training, onboarding, and continued development of team members
- Help create a positive, professional, team-oriented culture
- Address shift-level issues, guest concerns, and operational challenges confidently and professionally
Guest Experience
- Deliver Unparalleled Hospitality on every shift
- Maintain strong customer service standards while balancing speed and accuracy
- Resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally
- Lead by example during busy periods and high-volume rushes
Operational & Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with labor management and scheduling execution
- Count tills, manage cash handling procedures, and prepare deposits
- Support inventory counts, food cost management, and waste reduction
- Ensure food safety, health code, and brand standards are consistently followed
- Communicate effectively with ownership regarding café performance, staffing, and operational needs
What We’re Looking For
- Prior leadership or management experience in food service, retail, or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- High personal accountability, professionalism, and reliability
- Comfortable leading fast-paced shifts and making operational decisions
- Ability to coach others while maintaining a positive team culture
- Availability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example
