Your Mission

As our Adventure Activities Assistant Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests experience unforgettable moments while upholding the highest safety standards. You'll be supporting the site manager in running day-to-day operations, maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service, staff support, and course safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Elevated Guest Experience: Ensure every guest encounters exceptional service, from warm welcomes to providing detailed information about our exhilarating Go Ape courses, creating a truly WOW experience.
  • Safety First: Uphold safety as the number one priority by guaranteeing staff adherence to risk assessment and method statement processes, monitoring sessions, and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Team Support: Aid in staff recruitment, training, and development, fostering a positive work environment while ensuring effective communication among the site team.
  • Operational Excellence: Assist in overseeing the functionality of the course by conducting tree and safety inspections, maintaining documentation, managing site cleanliness, and supporting financial tasks and merchandise sales.
  • Promoting Brand Excellence: Act as a brand ambassador by contributing to marketing initiatives, promoting brand awareness, participating in off-site events, and conducting local market research.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory support role

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum one year of experience in amusement or recreation operations
  • Familiarity with more advanced software (SharePoint, etc.)


Additional Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to meet guest participation requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Willing to fulfill all roles at the job site as necessary, which includes occasionally lifting 50 pounds, working at extreme heights, and exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire and complete Go Ape Rescue Training

Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience

Pay Type: Hourly
