What Makes a Blaze Assistant General Manager?
You’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership, communicate clearly, and know how to bring out the best in others. You’re passionate about people, food, and operational excellence.
What we’re looking for:
• 2–4 years of management experience in QSR, fast-casual, casual dining, or retail
• Strong business acumen, including knowledge of scheduling, inventory, and P&L management
• Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Ability to work any shift—including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable using basic technology and reviewing performance data
• High standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 35–50 pounds
What You’ll Do:
As an Assistant General Manager, you'll support daily operations, develop your team, and help create a vibrant, guest-focused
restaurant culture.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coaching and developing team members to deliver fast, friendly, and consistent guest service
• Support the GM in recruiting, hiring, and training high-performing team members
• Leading by example on the line and ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Monitoring operational performance and maintaining labor and inventory targets
• Managing food preparation, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Addressing guest feedback professionally and constructively
• Driving team accountability, engagement, and a strong service culture on every shift
• Collaborating with the GM to uphold Blaze brand standards and achieve business goals
