Store Manager

Position Title: Manager (morning and/or night shift)

Position Summary

At Wallace Chicken, our Managers are the builders of culture and the drivers of results. As a Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, balancing people, performance, and profitability. You’ll be responsible for leading your team, delivering operational excellence, and ensuring every guest experiences The Wallace Way: fast, fresh, and full of hospitality.

This role is for someone who thrives on accountability, develops others, and takes pride in building winning teams. From managing financial performance to developing future leaders, you’ll be both coach and operator, shaping the growth of one of the fastest-moving brands in the QSR industry.


Manager Member salary can range from $26.00-31.00 an hour depending on experience and leadership background.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, coach, and inspire team members and shift leads, ensuring readiness for growth and advancement.
  • Oversee food quality, speed, service, and hospitality across all shifts, ensuring standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor sales, labor, food costs, and profitability; take corrective action to hit targets and drive growth.
  • Enforce all Wallace Chicken food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace standards.
  • Build efficient schedules that balance labor costs with guest satisfaction and team well-being.
  • Order, stock, and track inventory to ensure freshness, availability, and minimal waste.
  • Address customer concerns, equipment issues, and operational challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Model professionalism, urgency, and positivity; set the tone for teamwork, hustle, and hospitality.
  • Provide regular feedback to team members, report performance to ownership, and stay aligned with company goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive insights, and opportunities to innovate Wallace operations.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Required 2+ years of leadership experience in QSR, fast casual, or food service, 3-5 years preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and hit performance targets
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in POS systems, scheduling, and basic financial analysis
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/bend/move for long periods, and handle a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with guests, team, and ownership
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Holds or willing to obtain a valid California Food Handler Manager Certification
