Low voltage Technician
We are central manufacturer of Dunkin Brand. We provide baked goods to Dunkin Retail stores in NYC, NJ.
Our company is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with low voltage systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, such as production equipment, auto-line, security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring
- Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to identify and resolve any issues
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements/Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working with low voltage systems
- Experience with installation and maintenance of security systems, fire alarms, and network wiring
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must have your own reliable transportation and tools
- Ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends as needed
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in low voltage systems preferred
