This position is an in-office, full-time position based out of our newly built Headquarters in Mead, Colo. This modern facility includes a café and drive-thru and boasts state-of-the-art functionality for the comfort of our team.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Controller, the Staff Accountant will support all accounting functions of the Company & multiple related entities as well as various HR and Benefit administrative tasks. A focus on maintaining all daily, weekly & monthly accounting and business-related functions in support of Ziggi’s businesses. Work with Controller to identify, implement and/or manage technology solutions as needed. Work with other team members in support of General Corporate business needs as they arise in areas such as Marketing, Operations & Executive. Work with Controller and Ownership on Payroll and Benefit tasks. Assist and support annual audit function.
Essential Functions:
· Provides support for Franchise and related entities monthly close process.
· Maintains various subsidiary ledgers.
· Assists with various general ledger entries for various entities.
· Credit Card & Cash Account reconciliations.
· Various accounting duties including but not limited to royalty calculations and processing, various account reconciliations.
· Payroll processing support.
· Sales tax processing support.
· Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable processing for various entities.
· Manage leave tracking including PTO, FMLA, Sick and other leave benefits.
· Support in the annual financial audit.
· Assist with Franchisee accounting training, questions and in the creation of training information & help keep updated with current requirements.
· Handles short- and long-term special projects as requested.
· Any other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Physical Demands
The employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach and lift with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to frequently lift up to 30 pounds without assistance. Work Environment
The employee works indoors in a standard office environment.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000/annually
