CULVER'S Director of Human Resources & Administration
People Strategy & Team Development Leadership
We're not just filling an HR role. We're hiring the architect of our people strategy — the leader who will build the teams, shape the culture, and develop the future leaders who will carry our growth across Central Florida. We need great people to expand, and we need you to drive the planning that gets them in the door, grows them, and keeps them. If you believe a winning restaurant starts with a winning team, this is where you build the engine behind it all.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Built for builders, not administrators.
You'll step in as the Director of HR & Administration for our growing group of five Culver's restaurants — fully accountable for how we attract, hire, develop, and
keep great people. From day one you'll be treated like a strategic partner: reporting directly to the COO, with a seat at the leadership table and real ownership of the people function. This isn't a back-office role. It's the role that determines whether we have the teams and future leaders we need to open our next restaurant — and the one after that. The Culver's brand gives us one of the most trusted guest experiences in QSR; your job is to build the people behind it.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Three domains. Full accountability.
Our Culture
Foster a strong, winning team culture across every location. Partner with GMs to make Culver's the place people want to work — where great performance is seen, hospitality is lived, and team members stay and grow. Culture isn't an accident here; it's something you build on purpose.
Our Team
Own recruiting end to end — compelling job postings, competitive market pay analysis, and a proactive candidate pipeline so we're never starting from zero. Run first-round screening for GM, management, and leadership roles, and make sure every new hire gets a strong, organized start. Build the bench before we need it.
Our Future Leaders
Develop the next generation of Culver's leaders. Partner with GMs to ensure required training is completed on time for team members, managers, and GMs, and build the development and cross-training paths that turn today's crew into tomorrow's shift leaders, managers, and operators. Our growth depends on the leaders you grow.
Beyond the three core domains:
Serve as the primary resource for HR questions and employee relations across all locations; coordinate health insurance and run a smooth annual open enrollment; support accurate, on-time payroll with our provider; keep us compliant with employment law; and provide light office and administrative support that keeps our multi-unit operation running.
THE WINNING PROFILE
Rare. But we know it when we see it.
What we're looking for is rare — a people focused leader with an ownership mindset who treats our staffing and culture like the growth engine it is.
You build culture on purpose.
You've made previous workplaces better, and you can point to how.
You're in the numbers.
Time-to-fill, turnover, training completion, market pay — you have a point of view on all of them and know how they impact our business.
You develop people deliberately.
Someone is a leader today because of a plan you built, not luck.
You close the loop.
When an employee issue or a staffing gap shows up, you own it, solve it, and make sure it stays solved.
You think ahead.
You plan for the people we'll need to open the next location — before we need them.
You bring the fundamentals.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of HR experience (generalist, HR manager, or people ops),
Strong working knowledge of Florida and federal employment law, benefits and payroll basics,
Valid driver's license to travel between our local restaurants.
SHRM-CP/PHR certification and Multi-unit, restaurant, or hospitality experience are strong pluses.
HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS
We manage by scorecard, not by gut.
Here's what's on yours — and what separates a good HR leader from one who drives real growth.
Leadership Time-to-Fill:
Bench built before it's needed
On-Time Training Completion:
Every team member set up to win
New-Hire 90-Day Retention:
Hire right, onboard intentionally and train for success
Leaders Promoted From Within:
We intentionally develop our future leaders
THE PATH TO SUCCESS
A real growth track, not a vague promise.
As our group grows, so does this role. Here's how we get there together:
01 Build the Foundation
Develop HR Systems That Scale
Establish our recruiting, onboarding, training, and compliance systems. Learn the Culver's way and the realities of our locations, and put the fundamentals in place.
02 Develop Winning Teams
Drive Culture, Staffing & Development
Consistently hit your scorecard, foster a winning culture across locations, and keep our restaurants fully staffed while looking ahead and developing future leaders. Your foundation for what's next.
03 Strategic Growth Partner
Build Organizational Structure to Support Growth
You’ve made our people the competitive advantage — fully staffed restaurants, a deep leadership bench, and a culture that keeps great people. Now you are building out the organizational structure to support restaurant-level and back-office roles to support future growth goals.
