The Jupiter Supper Club is seeking an elegant, personable, and professional Host to enhance our front-of-house team at our venue, which features a main dining room, two bars, and a music room. As the initial point of contact for our guests, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include managing reservations, warmly welcoming guests, and ensuring a seamless and inviting ambiance. Responsibilities
- Guest Reception - Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing them with a memorable first impression.
- Reservation Management - Handle reservations with precision, including managing waitlists, seating arrangements, and special requests
- Menu Presentation - Present menus to guests, provide information about daily specials, and answer questions regarding the menu items. Be knowledgeable about the restaurant's offerings.
- Seating Coordination - Efficiently assign tables, balancing seating to optimize restaurant flow and maintain a comfortable dining environment.
- Communication - Liaise between the dining room and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Guest Experience - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, accommodating special needs, and handling complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Appearance - Maintain a neat and polished appearance, adhering to the restaurant's dress code and grooming standards.
- Administrative Duties - Manage the reservation system, update guest records, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Team Collaboration - Work closely with the waitstaff, kitchen, and management teams to support a cohesive and efficient front-of-house operation.
What You Bring
- 2-3 years as a Hostess or in a customer service role in a fine dining or upscale environment is preferred.
- Knowledge on Open Table and TOAST POS preferred
- Two to three years experience working as a Hostess
- TABC & Food Handlers Certifications required
- Wine and Beverage knowledge is a MUST
- Work authorization in the United States
