Join 66 Hardware Company, a family-owned group of Ace Hardware Co-ops with 5 stores in North Texas and 2 stores in Oklahoma. As a motivated Garden Lead, you'll guide our enthusiastic Garden Center staff, ensuring our garden is beautiful, well-stocked, and that customers receive exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Part Time and Seasonal Garden Associates to maintain a deliciously vibrant and tidy Garden Center.
- Communicate effectively with buyers to keep plant selections and pricing seasonal and competitive.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring, training, and scheduling to build a motivated team.
- Ensure daily watering, cleaning, raking, and weeding to keep the garden attractive and shoppable.
- Manage shipments of live goods, verify accuracy, and organize displays with your team.
- Provide enthusiastic and friendly customer service, assisting with plant selection and carrying purchases.
Skills and Experience
- Strong plant knowledge or gardening experience in North Texas is required.
- Experience with Google Sheets and Docs is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer heat with appropriate safety measures.
