Customer Service Excellence
- Provide a positive and friendly representation of Ace Hardware to every customer.
- Proactively assist customers with personalized solutions and product knowledge.
- Greet and thank customers warmly throughout their visit.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Maintain strong knowledge of store layout and merchandise locations.
Store Operations Support
- Help receive, stock, and price merchandise to keep the store inviting and organized.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas.
- Assist with merchandise resets, signage updates, and special orders.
- Operate forklift safely after training and contribute to a professional work environment.
- Participate actively in store meetings and communicate ideas to improve sales and operations.
Skills & Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Formal retail experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders during shifts.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings (no later than 8pm), and holidays.
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and service-oriented attitude.
