Job Summary:
As a Service Advisor, you will be the liaison between our customers and technicians. Your role is to ensure each customer receives top-tier service — from the moment they walk through our doors to the time they drive away in a safely maintained vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in person and over the phone
- Listen to customer concerns and clearly document repair and service needs
- Recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services based on vehicle history and inspection results
- Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair estimates
- Present service recommendations, quotes, and timelines to customers
- Keep customers informed throughout the service process
- Coordinate pickup and delivery times and facilitate vehicle status updates
- Handle warranty and service contract documentation
- Ensure all repair orders are closed with complete notes and accurate information
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and handle issues with empathy and professionalism
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Technical degree a plus)
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to explain technical information in a customer-friendly manner
- Working knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency with dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc. is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
