Cashier Position - Part-Time

Main Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they enter and leave the store
- Manage transactions with a cash register and ensure accuracy
- Balance the cash register at the end of your shift
- Scan goods and confirm pricing and quantities
- Accept various payment methods (cash, credit, check)
- Provide change and receipts to customers
- Handle coupons, vouchers, and gift cards
- Process returns and refunds, addressing customer complaints
- Bag and wrap goods securely for customers
- Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong math skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Capability to resolve complaints effectively
Schedule
- Part-time position with weekend availability
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- On-site work at our local store
