Job Title: Kitchen Manager / Head Chef

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced pub environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and staff 
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency 
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and food cost control 
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations 
  • Adhere to the updated menu items in collaboration with management 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas 
  • Monitor prep, line execution, and ticket times 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of kitchen management or sous chef experience 
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards 
  • Experience with inventory systems and cost control and portion control
  • Ability to lead a team in a high-volume environment, including Catering skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills 

Preferred:

  • Experience in pub fare, comfort food, or scratch kitchens 
  • Culinary training or certification
