Job description
The Back of House (BOH) Director at Chick-fil-A is responsible for leading all kitchen operations to ensure food quality, speed of service, food safety, and team development align with Chick-fil-A brand standards. This role is a strategic leadership position focused on operational excellence, profitability, and cultivating a high-performance culture that reflects Chick-fil-A’s values.
The BOH Director partners closely with Front of House leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Pay Range: $24+
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure recipe and quality compliance.
- Maintain food safety standards and prepare for health inspections.
- Lead, train, and develop BOH team members and leaders.
- Manage food cost, labor cost, inventory, and waste control.
- Partner with leadership to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen systems.
- Financial acumen with experience managing food and labor costs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- SERV Safe certification (preferred)
