Willamette Valley Vineyards (NASDAQ: WVVI & WVVIP) is seeking an outstanding Accountant to join our team at our beautiful Estate in the Salem Hills. This onsite position is ideal for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with accounting experience, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Accountant Responsibilities:
- Preparing and inputting complex journal entries.
- Month-end close processes.
- Prepare reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
- Prepare internal and external audit schedules.
- Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers.
- Analyzes financial information detailing assets and liabilities.
- Coordinate bulk wine inventory, packaging and supplies, counts.
- Liaison for Production and Vineyard teams on labor tracking, inventory purchases and sales.
- Be the resource for Sales team on inventory movements.
- Coordinate with the Compliance team on inventory movements.
- Vineyard development costs tracking.
- Harvest cost accounting and Vintrace reconciliation.
- Investigate unusual/non-routine transactions and report findings and recommendations.
- Participate in special projects utilizing technical accounting and analytical skills to make recommendations.
- Other tasks as assigned by the CFO and Controller.
- Supports company’s effort to create a more sustainable, cross-cultural, and “green” environment.
Requirements:
- BA or BS in Accounting or closely related field.
- CPA and/or CMA desirable but not required.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- 5 or more years of experience with increasing responsibility in career progression.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
