Position Overview
The Back of House Director is responsible for the team's actions and the business's overall reputation. They play a pivotal role in our ability to achieve excellent operational execution, uphold a remarkable environment, and maintain balanced profitability. Many individuals attracted to this position aspire to become a Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator, run a small business, develop leadership skills, or pursue a long-term career within our local stores. We are seeking a results-oriented individual who aspires to be part of a high-performing business and team. The Operations Director position is the first step into management within our organization.

- Additional Information: This role requires a one-year minimum commitment to working evenings on the 2 pm - 11 pm shift. This experience prepares an individual for a potential position change in the future. This position is based on a 45-hour work week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper Chick-fil-A training and standards are taught and maintained, resulting in 98% or above in Deloitte evaluations and a 1 in Ecosure evaluations.
- Lead weekly Team Leader meetings to discuss performance metrics, develop leaders, and communicate relevant business needs and information.
- Keep the store in like-new condition through equipment and facilities maintenance.
- Ensure a balanced profit approach through intentional focus on labor, food cost, and IPO
- Maintain 82% or above in key Customer Experience Monitor (CEM) categories
- Partner with the Human Resources department to interview and select top talent
- Coach and develop Team Members, Team Leaders, and Person-In-Charge (PIC)
- Build talent pipelines within the team, recognizing and developing individuals with leadership potential
- Provide fair, objective, and constructive performance feedback
- Build team culture and morale
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- 1-3 years of leadership experience
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Have the ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs regularly
- The ability to stand for long periods
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Previous Chick-fil-A experience preferred, but not required
