Director – Chick-fil-A McHenry

Starting Pay: $22/hour

Full-Time Leadership Position

At Chick-fil-A McHenry, we’re looking for a high-capacity Director who wants to lead people, drive results, and grow with our business.

This isn't simply a shift-management position. Our Directors take ownership of meaningful areas of the restaurant, develop other leaders, and partner with our senior leadership team to help Chick-fil-A McHenry excel in operations, people development, growth, and care.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Operations: Be highly present in the restaurant, lead excellent shifts, solve problems, and ensure our team consistently executes Chick-fil-A standards.
• Develop People: Coach Team Members and Team Leaders through encouragement, accountability, and intentional development.
• Own Results: Take ownership of specific business areas and the goals, systems, and results associated with them.
• Protect the Brand: Champion food safety, operational excellence, and an exceptional guest experience across OSAT, Accuracy, Taste, Speed, and ACE.
• Build Leaders: Identify high-potential Team Members and help develop the next generation of Chick-fil-A McHenry leaders.
• Drive Growth: Support sales growth through excellent operations, catering, community involvement, and creating experiences that bring guests back.
• Steward Resources: Help manage labor, productivity, expenses, and restaurant resources responsibly.
• Care for People: Know our team, recognize great work, have meaningful conversations, and help us live out our mission of being McHenry’s most caring people.

What We’re Looking For

• Is interested in developing other leaders, not simply managing tasks.
• Has open availability, including Saturdays and closing shifts as business needs require. Sundays off!
• Has ServSafe Food Manager certification or is willing to obtain it.
• Wants to continue growing personally and professionally.

Grow Into Executive Leadership

Chick-fil-A McHenry also has an Executive Director opportunity, and we are looking for leaders with the capacity and desire to grow toward executive-level responsibility.

Our Executive Director partners directly with the Operator to lead the restaurant's leadership team and take significant ownership of the overall business, including operations, people development, sales growth, profitability, leadership systems, and long-term strategy.

A Director who consistently demonstrates strong operational leadership, ownership, results, people development, and alignment with our culture may have the opportunity to grow into this position.
