Where do you fit in?
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr Estimator to support our Regional Construction branch. In this role at Greenscape, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bidding and project planning processes. You'll focus on landscape installation estimating and production coordination for contracted projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and understand plans and specifications, analytical skills to review subcontractor bids and vendor quotes, and composure to manage and meet tight deadlines while still producing accurate takeoffs and bids.
Position Required Qualifications:
- Understanding of business math and reporting
- Able to calculate related quantities for soil, plants, mulch, and labor
- Minimum 1 year experience estimating landscape, irrigation, and hardscape projects
- Plant knowledge, horticulture experience, or landscape design
- Able to conduct a thorough site analysis
- Ability to work outside in al weather conditions
- 3+ years of safe driving experience
Responsibilities:
- Generate commercial landscape bids and enhancements
- Support Business Developer and Client relations Managers with transition from lead through proposal to signed contact and hand off to production
- Interfaces with Client Relations Manager and Business Developer to ensure all client concerns are addressed in a timely professional manner
- Participate in pre-job and post job meeting
- Complete plan take-off and enter bid information into company’s software program
