Job Summary
As a house person, your primary focus will be the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel public spaces and common areas. Our goal is to make a great first impression to our guests with a freshly cleaned and prepared welcome. We are looking for active people who like to clean and feel satisfaction in a completed, final product. Light maintenance skills are a plus!
Schedule: Variable based on business needs
Daily Duties
- Cleaning public & staff hotel restrooms including event area & restaurant restrooms
- Pool upkeep. Excess water removal, floor cleaning, towel replenishment etc.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpets and cleaning wall marks in event rooms
- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and entry doors
- Cleaning elevators & office areas
- Assisting front desk with guest requests
- Shoveling and maintaining walkways during the winter months
- Emptying trash around the property
- Light Maintenance work may also be included; changing light bulbs, painting, etc.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to be physically active for hours at a time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Self motivated
- Team player
- Customer service oriented
- Weekend availability, when we are busiest, is generally required
