Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base-pay with commissions for massage sessions, request bonuses and tips (suggested tip for 50 minute massage = $25)

- The NOW is always looking for great people, and that's where you come in! If you know someone who would be a good addition, and is a licensed massage therapist, you may be awarded a referral bonus of $300
Responsibilities:
- Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform through the benefits of massage therapy.
- Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.)
- Maintain service room to standards. All supplies are provided.
- Full and Part-Time positions available.
- Will consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy that possess the right qualities, as well as demonstrate innate talent for, and understanding of, therapeutic massage.
Requirements:
- Desire to be part of a team that has an infectious passion for health and wellness.
- License/certification required in California. Must present a license/certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.
- Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities.
- Minimum of 2 shifts per week (availability for at least one weekend shift; Saturday or Sunday)
- Physical demands of the job include: Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

CA Pay Transparency Law: Expected base hourly compensation for this position is $16.90 per hour; note this rate is paid regardless of whether you are massaging or not. This rate is BEFORE any bonuses or tips (we pay one or more bonuses for each massage given and our suggested tip is $25 for a 50-min service; expected actual earnings while massaging is $45-$60/hour).
