Do you enjoy meeting new people, making great drinks, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere? Last Chance Saloon at Al’s Oasis is looking for friendly, dependable Bartenders to join our team. As a Bartender, you’ll prepare and serve beverages, take care of guests, handle payments, and help keep the bar running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who provides great service, stays organized during busy shifts, and helps make Last Chance Saloon a place guests enjoy visiting.
What You’ll Do
Guest Service & Bartending
• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages accurately and consistently.
• Take orders, answer questions, and make beverage recommendations.
• Check identification and follow all applicable alcohol service requirements.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible beverage service.
• Address guest requests and concerns professionally.
Bar Operations
• Process payments and handle cash accurately.
• Stock beer, liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Keep the bar, service areas, and equipment clean and organized.
• Complete opening, closing, and other assigned side work.
Teamwork & Safety
• Work with fellow team members to provide efficient service.
• Follow company policies and applicable alcohol service laws.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous bartending, serving, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage preparation preferred.
• Ability to meet applicable age and alcohol service requirements.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
Skills & Abilities
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Comfortable handling cash and processing payments.
• Dependable, professional, and able to make sound decisions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift bar supplies as needed.
• Ability to safely handle glassware, beverages, and bar equipment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced bar environment.
