Are you a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, helping customers, and driving results? Buche’s Gus Stop in Pickstown is looking for a Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day success of the store. As Store Manager, you’ll lead and develop your team, manage store performance, oversee inventory and merchandising, and make sure customers receive exceptional service every day. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed.
What You'll Do
Lead & Develop Your Team
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members.
• Build a positive, productive, and customer-focused store culture.
• Create schedules based on store needs and labor goals.
• Provide feedback and hold team members accountable.
• Lead by example and support your team during daily operations.
Manage Store Operations
• Oversee all day-to-day store operations.
• Monitor sales, expenses, labor, and overall store profitability.
• Manage inventory levels, merchandising, and pricing accuracy.
• Partner with merchandising, pricing, and operations teams to implement company initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming store.
Customer Service & Community
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service.
• Build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
• Address customer questions or concerns professionally.
• Ensure your team consistently provides a great customer experience.
Safety & Store Standards
• Maintain a safe environment for customers and team members.
• Follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Support loss prevention and inventory control efforts.
• Maintain store standards for cleanliness, organization, and appearance.
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous management experience in convenience store, retail, grocery, or a similar customer-focused environment preferred.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members.
• Experience with inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and daily store operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred but not required.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and retail technology skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
