Training and Development Manager
Job Description
Job Summary: The Training and Development Manager will be responsible for providing direction, and oversight to assigned stores within a district, ensuring the achievement of operational and financial objectives are consistent with company standards. Position reports directly to the Regional Manager.
Requirements:
• Previous managerial experience is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Flexible schedule to include 2 mid-shifts per week, and 2 weekends per month
• Must be available for phone calls and store support after hours
Responsibilities:
• Assist Regional Manager with supervision of store managers and all store personnel, including hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Lead and inspire store teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Train store managers and staff on customer service techniques and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate customer service performance across the district.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
• Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Handle escalated customer complaints or issues effectively.
• Maintain a customer-focused culture within the district.
• Assist Regional Manager with supervision store managers and all store personnel, including hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Regularly evaluate store performance and personnel, documenting findings as necessary.
• Conduct regular store cash audits, MOD’s, service, and presentation checklists.
• Enforce and train inventory control and accounting procedures at store level.
• Maintain store cleanliness, appearance, and image.
• Report maintenance issues to thru IMaint system, follow up with Regional and Maintenance manager for escalated incidents.
• Investigate and report theft or robbery incidents, must be available to visit store during any incidents and accommodate the investigation.
• Supervise employee training implementation along with new hire paperwork.
• Complete weekly training checklists with employees.
• Hold a weekly conference call to review the Top 5 focus for the week.
• This role may encompass duties beyond those listed above, and additional directives may be provided by the corporate office."
