Position Overview

This role combines hands‑on operational leadership with people development to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain quality and safety standards, and drive team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution: Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, food quality, safety, and compliance with brand standards.
Service Standards: Implement and reinforce the Recipe for Service so every guest receives warm, consistent hospitality.
People Development: Coach, mentor, and train team members; provide performance feedback and create opportunities for growth.
Accountability: Assign, monitor, and verify completion of tasks; maintain operational checklists and performance metrics.
Problem Resolution: Diagnose operational issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate when necessary.
Resource Management: Support inventory control, scheduling, and cost management initiatives.
Culture Building: Lead by example to foster a positive, inclusive workplace where teamwork and respect are central.
Take Charge by:
- Participate in day-to-day operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
- Respond immediately and respectfully to guests' needs.
- Assist in training new hires and set the tone for each shift.
- Act as a friendly, encouraging team player.
- Open and/or close the restaurant and lead shifts.
- Count drawers and finalize daily operations.
- Communicate effectively, both written and spoken.
Qualifications and Requirements
Genuine hospitality: Warm, genuine smile with the ability to create emotional connections with guests.
Leadership experience: Prior leadership in fast‑paced restaurant, hospitality, or retail environments preferred; demonstrated ability to manage team performance and coaching for success.
Coaching and development: Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with a clear commitment to developing others.
Integrity and accountability: High ethical standards; able to prioritize and execute under pressure with a sense of urgency.
Communication: Clear, effective communication with team members, vendors, and senior leadership.
Reliability: Dependable transportation and consistent attendance; able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and peak service hours.
Operational resilience: Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and maintaining composure during busy periods.
Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling, and basic inventory processes preferred.
