Position Overview:
One of our core values is “Love the Nugget!” As a Back of House (BOH) Line Cook, you are an integral part of our kitchen team making sure those nuggets and other menu items are prepped, portioned, and cooked to perfection for every order.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to sanitation standards and safety regulations.
- Execute menu items in accordance with our standard recipes, ensuring consistency and high standards of taste and presentation.
- Prepare ingredients by chopping vegetables, portioning, and assembling other items before cooking.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as grills, stoves, ovens, and fryers.
- Monitor food levels and communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and execution of orders during busy periods.
- Collaborate with BOH team to uphold a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Proven experience as a line cook or similar role.
- Proficient knowledge of food safety procedures and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment.
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high culinary standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
