BoH Assistant Director

Job Description:
We are seeking a Back of House Assistant Director to support our BoH Director in ensuring efficient, high-performing kitchen operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining food safety standards, optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and developing team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Efficiency
- Support daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflows
- Help reduce waste and control food costs while maintaining quality
- Monitor speed of service and identify improvement opportunities
Food Safety & Cleanliness
- Enforce food safety and workplace safety standards
- Maintain high levels of kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Prepare for and support food safety inspections
Training & Development
- Train and coach team members on systems, safety, and quality
- Identify development opportunities and support leadership growth
Communication & Execution
- Support rollout of updates, systems, and process improvements
- Ensure team alignment with standards, procedures, and goals
Customer Experience
- Contribute to consistent, high-quality food and service
- Support initiatives that improve overall guest experience
Leadership Scope:
- Lead and influence BoH operations alongside the Director
- Support Team Members, Team Leads, Assistant Coaches, and Coaches
- Execute operational and strategic initiatives

Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Restaurant or kitchen experience a plus, but not required
- Bilingual - English & Spanish is a plus, but not required
Time Commitment:
- Minimum 40 hours/week
- 38 hours in operations
- 2 hours in administrative/leadership responsibilities
