Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lawn Care Technician responsible for maintaining the appearance and health of our grounds through professional mowing, trimming, and general landscape upkeep. This position plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and well-maintained outdoor environment for guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial lawn mowers (zero-turn, push, riding) safely and efficiently
- Perform weed trimming around buildings, fences, signage, trees, and landscaped areas
- Edge sidewalks, curbs, and driveways for a clean, finished look
- Blow off grass clippings and debris from walkways, parking lots, and common areas
- Monitor turf condition and report irrigation issues, pest concerns, or turf damage
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, mulching, and basic landscaping
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment (fueling, blade checks, minor adjustments)
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
Qualifications
- Previous lawn care or groundskeeping experience preferred
- Ability to operate commercial mowing and trimming equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining neat grounds
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred (if equipment transport is required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in heat, humidity, and outdoor conditions
Work Environment
This position involves daily outdoor work and exposure to noise, dust, grass clippings, and changing weather conditions.
