Key responsibilities may include:

  • Food preparation:
  • Washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning fresh vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients for salads, wraps, and catering orders. 
  • Food safety:
  • Following proper food handling and sanitation practices, including proper storage and labeling of food items. 
  • Inventory management:
  • Stocking kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and monitoring inventory levels. 
  • Cleanliness:
  • Keeping the kitchen area clean and organized, including washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and sweeping floors. 
  • Efficiency:
  • Working quickly and accurately to meet production demands during peak hours. 
  • Teamwork:
  • Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
