Catering Director Job Description:
The Director of Catering has the ultimate responsibility for safe and on-time fulfillment of all catering sales. While they can’t reasonably cover every moment of potential catering sales they should oversee and leverage appropriate processes, people, equipment, and operations to ensure safe and hassle-free catering growth. They are responsible for creating and overseeing an annual catering plan, overseeing Catering Team Members, interfacing with guests and staff, maintaining equipment and resources, managing catering-related risk, and ensuring seamless communication related to the integration of catering sales into day-to-day operations.
Outstanding customer service is a must, so the Director of Catering we hire must always meet all our guests' needs and expectations, as well as attend to all the potential guest complaints in a professional and friendly manner. This position will be part time catering and part time on shift. Being part of the store operationally is a must. This is NOT an administrative only position, there will be driving, lifting, taking orders, and helping with making the food and drink.
Responsibilities of Catering Director:
- Lead and develop a Catering Team
- Open line of communication with Operations, Kitchen, and the Guests
- Consulting with Guests about any potential changes before every delivery
- Growing Catering Sales
- Working with Marketing and Operations for future success
- Delegating orders to Catering Team
- Checking and maintaining Catering equipment
- Proficient menu knowledge
- Growing and expanding our Catering Team
- Catering organization in the store
- Accountable to list completion
- Providing excellent customer service
Catering Director Job Requirements:
- Excellent people skills

- Catering experience is a plus but not required
- Problem Solving
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Sitting and standing throughout an 8 hour shift
- Able to work outside
