Arrow Group, established in 2016, is a family-owned electrical contracting company providing solar installations and commercial and residential electrical services throughout Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We are growing and looking to add skilled electricians to our field operations team.
Position Summary
Arrow Electric is hiring licensed Master Electricians and Journeyman Electricians for residential, commercial, and solar-related electrical work. These are full-time, field-based positions that require travel and occasional overnight stays depending on project location.
Requirements for applying for this role:
· Valid Master or Journeyman Electrician license (IL, IA, or WI) is required — applicants must be properly licensed to be considered
· Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
· Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Can work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to evaluate job requirements and costs
- Are capable of operating heavy machinery (telehandlers, trenchers, etc.)—training is provided
- Can complete Main Panel Tie-Ins and Meter Taps
- Can diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues
- Perform electrical work efficiently with minimal site visits
Travel Requirements
· Travel and overnight stays are required based on project needs
Success at Arrow Electric is driven by clear processes and the ability to:

- Lead safe work practices for the Field Operations team
- Deliver exceptional customer service by educating customers about the product(s) and providing real-time updates on job status
In this role, you will be expected to:
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment
· Perform main panel tie-ins and meter taps
· Troubleshoot electrical systems and components
· Read blueprints and plan wiring layouts per NEC and safety standards
· Operate jobsite equipment (telehandlers, trenchers, etc. – training provided)
· Communicate with customers regarding job scope, timelines, and costs
· Maintain safe work practices and jobsite cleanliness
· Work effectively as part of a team
Starting package includes:
· Master Electrician: $55 per hour
· Journeyman Electrician: $45 per hour
· Illinois Prevailing Wage Projects: $60–$110 per hour. Daily calculated overtime as required for select commercial solar and battery projects
· Company-provided work van for daily job tasks; select roles may be eligible to take the vehicle home to support operational efficiency
· 10 days (80 hours) of accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) annually, which may be used for vacation, personal leave, or sick time
· Holiday pay for five (5) holidays per year
